Kitchen Table Nights
Join Us for Online Screening Events
Spend some time around the kitchen table with us.
Four times every year Common Language trained Digital Storytelling facilitators invite participants from their various projects to a public online screening and discussion. Each KT Night showcases 3-4 stories and includes group discussions and interviews with the storytellers. So, grab some food, a drink, and come meet us at the kitchen table for a dose of wisdom.
“When I was a child, people sat around kitchen tables and told their stories. We don’t do that so much anymore. Sitting around the table telling stories is not just a way of passing time. It is the way wisdom gets passed along. The stuff that helps us live a life worth remembering. Despite the awesome powers of technology many of us still do not live very well. We may need to listen to each other’s stories once again.”
— Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen, Kitchen Table Wisdom

Co-Created: A Kitchen Table Takeover for World Heart Day
Pull up a chair and join us for an evening with Kristy Wolfe, host of the Co-Created podcast, as she takes over the September 29th Kitchen Table Night in a special World Heart Day edition!
We’re bringing together advocates, caregivers, healthcare providers, and those interested indigital storytelling to experience powerful stories that highlight the importance of neurodevelopmental care for those with Congenital Heart Disease. These deeply personal stories are more than just narratives— you’ll find connection, insight, and inspiration in this unique gathering.
This event will be recorded for a future Co-Created podcast episode—be part of the conversation that matters.
The digital stories being shared were created during different projects with funding from the Western Canadian Children’s Heart Network (WCCHN) and the screening is taking place in partnership with WCCHN & Conquering CHD.
All are welcome, though content may not be suitable for all ages.
