Digital Storytelling Facilitator Training
LEVEL 1 - Work with Individuals
This foundational, 54-hour online training is the platform on which you can begin to develop your own personal DST Facilitation style and skills.
Trainees will create their own Digital Story
Learn more about the technical and theoretical foundations of DST
Have the opportunity to work directly with a storytelling participant to help them create a meaningful and compelling digital story.
Digital Storytelling Facilitator Training
LEVEL 2 - Work with Groups
2-days of advanced technical and theoretical training. This advanced training will provide you all the theory and practice needed to organize and facilitate group Digital Storytelling workshops.
Plan and facilitate a Digital Storytelling workshop and screening with the support of a Common Language Trainer.
Gain both a deeper understanding of group DST facilitation principles and the valuable experience of planning and facilitating their own workshop from start to finish.
Digital Storytelling Facilitator Training
LEVEL 3 - Train other facilitators
This training is designed for those who will make Digital Storytelling their career path and involves both instruction and long-term mentorship from Common Language before receiving a certificate of completion.
The ultimate goal of this level of training is for participants to be able to run their own trainings around the world with the on-going support of Common Languge.
