Some stories were made for personal reasons and others were made as part of quality improvement projects. The Path Now Taken: Daisy’s Story
This digital story is about burnout. Daisy chose to share her story to give hope to her colleagues that there can be a fulfilling comeback after burnout and give insight to the public on what happens with physicians who burnout.

This story is about a meaningful moment in Mike’s cancer experience as a 25 year old. It is about the relationships between health care providers and patients... and how sometimes "evidence-based medicine" can only get you so far.

Cheryl’s Story
This is a powerful story from her perspective as the grandparent of a child with Congenital Heart Disease during a medical intervention. Cheryl also touches on the loss of her husband, a cardiologist, by suicide.

This is a story created by a physician talking about the micro-aggressions she has experience in her life and continues to experience in her medical practice. Daisy encourages us to think about how we can celebrate and embrace difference.

Follow the journey of a physician, Martina Kelly, as she work with health narrative specialist Mike Lang to create a Digital Story about her healthcare experience. As a family doctor, Martina has always been interested in the importance of touch. Through her story we understand how health care providers touch the lives of patients, and how patients can touch the lives of their physicians in return.
